On April 14, 2020, the BBRS voted to waive the “in-class” requirement for all renewals submitted until 90 days after the end of the state of emergency. (As a reminder, according to state regulations, each Construction Supervisor licensee may only use up to 6 hours of online continuing education credits per renewal cycle.) The 90-day period will end on September 13, 2021.

Any renewals submitted after September 13, 2021 will require a portion of continuing education credits to be completed in person. Any renewals submitted through September 13, 2021 will be accepted with the full continuing education credits taken online.

The Office of Public Safety has advised us that the complete renewal packed must be received by their office by/on September 13, 2021 in order to use all online classes. Complete renewal packets can be dropped off at 1000 Washington Street, Boston, but will not be processed while you wait. The license will be mailed once processed.

IMPORTANT: You cannot renew your license until you have received your renewal notice, which is typically mailed out 45 days prior to your expiration date. If you are renewing online, you can renew 59-60 days before your expiration date, regardless of whether or not you've received your paper renewal form.
