Once I've completed my MA Electrician continuing education course, what do I need to do next to renew my license? Print

IMPORTANT: For 2019 renewals, the board is only accepting online renewals.

You must follow the instructions below, otherwise you will NOT receive a renewal notice and will not be able to renew your license.

STEP 1: Send an email to DPLauthcodes@mass.gov. In the email, include a list of all of your Massachusetts Electrician license numbers.

STEP 2: You will receive a response to your email that includes an Authorization Code, as well as instructions on how to link your license so that you are able to renew online. bFollow these instructions to set up your online account and renew your license.

When you finish the 15-hour or 6-hour continuing education course, you will have immediate access to your certificate of completion and At Leisure Contractor Licensing will report your CE hours to the Massachusetts Board of State Examiners of Electricians. For all courses, you must keep copies of your certificates for three renewal cycles.
